As the norm things changed with Torry Holt signing in Jacksonville, Percy Harvin reported failed drug test, Philly-Buffalo trade and I’m sure there are a lot more to come pretty soon. 1st Round (Updated)
1 1 Detroit Matthew Stafford--QB Georgia......Discussion goes on in the Lions war room but passing on Stafford is too risky for this franchise. Stafford impressed at the combine and during individual workouts that the Lions can feel safe that they finally have their future signal caller and face of the franchise for the next 15 years.1 2 St. Louis Jason Smith--OT Baylor....With the release on Orlando Pace, the Rams will need a new leader of their offensive line and the athletic Smith is a future Pro Bowler for this team."
1 3 Kansas City Aaron Curry--OLB Wake Forest.........Curry is the lowest risk in the draft and will certainly be the future leader of the Chiefs defense for years to come.
1 4 Seattle Eugene Monroe--OT Virginia....... Seattle could go several different directions but Monroe is the safest and most likely to be starting by the end of camp.
1 5 Cleveland Michael Crabtree--WR Texas Tech........ Interesting spot for Cleveland as they need defense in the worse way but with Stallworth's legal problem and the flirtation of sending Edwards elsewhere the selection of Crabtree makes the most sense at this point. Together with Edwards would give them a dynamic duo the likes not often seen if they trade Edwards they still have the big #1 target needed for all offenses.
1 6 Cincinnati Brian Orakpo--DE Texas.............Constantly in need for a pass rush and because of some bad luck in the past (David Pollack), the Bengals can add the top player at that spot again this year. "
1 7 Oakland: Jeremy Maclin--WR Missouri.......... Al Davis loves the HR threat which Maclin certainly is but based on his versatility brings so much more to the table.
1 8 Jacksonville: Percy Harvin--WR Florida....This team is constantly searching for a wide receiver but have yet to come with any of value (see Matt Jones, Reggie Williams, R. Jay Soward, Ernest Wilford) that should change with the dynamic Harvin coming to town."
1 9 Green Bay: Robert Ayers--DE Tennessee.......With the Packers switching to a 3-4 defense they need to upgrade the speed of their ends and no player has been more impressive in all-star games and the combine that Ayers. He'll fit perfect in the new scheme and should be a game 1 starter for the Packers.
1 10 San Francisco: Mark Sanchez--QB USC......... Desperate to restore the luster to this once proud franchise San Francisco could do no better than grabbing Sanchez and starting building the team around him for the next 15 years. A special talent who should become an instant crowd favorite.
1 11 Buffalo: Everette Brown--DE Florida State........ Buffalo started out 2008 season on the right foot but the major deficiencies on the roster in terms of talented started to show up when they faced the better opponents with the biggest weakness a serious pass rush. That problem should be solved for awhile by adding Everette Brown to the roster.
1 12 Denver: Tyson Jackson--DE LSU....... No team has had more of a makeover than the Broncos this off-season. With the departure of the head coach and the temperamental QB things will be different this year. They need to start adding talent to the defense if they have any hopes for more than another 8-8 season. Jackson will give them pressure from the outside that they have been lacking for quite awhile.
1 13 Washington: Michael Oher--OT Mississippi...... The Skins need an influx of youth to their offensive line and getting the highly regarded Oher is certainly a step in the right direction. He should have little trouble adjusting to the NFL spotlight after the national attention he's received going back to his high school days.
1 14 New Orleans: Chris Wells--RB Ohio State........ While they may have more pressing needs at linebacker but I believe the Saints interest in Wells is genuine. Brees can not put the ball up as much as he did last year and have a hammer like Wells in the backfield should keep the offense on the field longer thus taking pressure off the defense and their shortcomings.
1 15 Houston: Clay Matthews--OLB USC........ The Texans need to continue to improve the linebacking core if this teams hopes to take the next step in their development. Matthews Jr. is the type of guy that will give them 110% and become a leader of the defense in a rather short amount of time.
1 16 San Diego: Knowshon Moreno--RB Georgia .......LT's days/seasons are numbered in San Diego and if they want to continue operating at the same success level it would be wise to select the multi-talented Moreno as the heir apparent to the tailback position. Moreno is a special talent and should be a starter but 2010.
1 17 NY Jets: Josh Freeman--QB Kansas State.......Losing out for Cutler and recovering from the Favre experiment the Jets may be tempted by the big arm of Freeman. Ryan saw during his time in Baltimore it is possible to win with a rookie QB if your defense is up for the challenge.
1 18 Denver: (from Chicago) B.J. Raji--DT Boston College.......... Raji has become the victim of some yet to be confirmed failed drug reports which certainly will hurt his status. Should he slide this far the Broncos would wise to add him and pair him with Jackson to form a terrific front tandem for the next ten years.
1 19 Tampa Bay: Darrius Heyward-Bey--WR Maryland........ With the release of Joey Galloway the Bucs will be looking for that HR threat who can keep the defenses honest. When motivated Heyward-Bey is unstoppable the bigger task is keeping him focused every play and game.
1 20 Detroit (from Dallas): Rey Maualuga--ILB USC.......... After adding Stafford to lead the offense the Lions now can add their defensive leader in Maualuga. Rey is perfect for the scheme and will work great with Ernie Sims and Julian Peterson.
1 21 Philadelphia: Donald Brown RB Connecticut....
1 22 Minnesota: Andre Smith--OT Alabama......... No player in recent memory has ever seemed more unprepared for the process of getting ready for the draft than Andre. What happened at the combine and workouts is inexcusable but with that said he still is a special talent when the pads are on and the team is in battle. Great addition to the Vikings and great value at this point of the draft.
1 23 New England: Brian Cushing--OLB USC............. With the boat load of picks the Pats have it's likely they will be trading all over the place so I'm not betting they are staying at 23. If they should adding a player like Cushing to go with Mayo will give them two young linebackers to build around and replacing the recently departed Mike Vrablel.
1 24 Atlanta: Evander Hood--DT Missouri............... Mike Smith loves the big DT (see his days in Jacksonville) and the strength and size of Hood makes him a perfect fit for their system.
1 25 Miami: Hakeem Nicks--WR North Carolina........ Miami top two needs are OLB and WR and with no OLB warranting the #25 pick the Tuna will grab Nicks and get the OLB in round two. Bill went personally to see Nicks workout which tells you his interest.
1 26 Baltimore: Malcolm Jenkins--CB Ohio State............. Even with the resigning of Samari Rolle the Ravens should jump to add Jenkins who could easily play corner or safety for them. Some question Jenkins recovery speed to play corner but watching his game tapes show all signs of a lockdown corner early in his career with a possible switch to safety later in his career.
1 27 Indianapolis: Peria Jerry--DT Mississippi........ The Colts want to add size to the middle of their defense and grabbing a player like Peria certainly accomplishes that and more. He's the kind of force in the middle they have been lacking for a long time.
1 28 Buffalo (from Philadelphia via Carolina): Brandon Pettigrew TE Oklahoma State
1 29 NY Giants: Kenny Britt--WR Rutgers............. With the resolution of the Plaxico situation the Giants biggest need clearly is a tall WR to add that dimension back to the offense. Britt is a natural selection and should make an immediate impact.
1 30 Tennessee: Vontae Davis--CB Illinois.......Another player hurt by unsubstantiated drug reports that may hurt his draft status. Vonte, the brother of Vernon, is a special talent that is an absolute steal at this point and likely contender for defensive rookie of the year."
1 31 Arizona: Aaron Maybin--DE/OLB Penn State............ Maybin would be a great end to pair with Calais Campbell to give the Cards the best set of young defensive in the league
1 32 Pittsburgh: Eben Britton--OT Arizona............ Biggest area of need is restocking the offensive line and grabbing Britton at this point is the first step in building a young talented line.
This first round has been updated to include the recent Jason Peters trade to Philadelphia. The other will be updated soon.

Seven Round Mock
Most people say you have to be a little crazy to try and do a seven round mock as one or two trades blows the whole thing up. I agree but figured while we wait for the equivalent of Christmas Day for football fans to get here I might as well take my best crack at it. I took into consideration team needs, team preferences for certain types of players and schools, depth at various position in this year’s draft, and trying to fit all players with the systems the teams use (something some teams don’t always seem to do). I hope you enjoy it and feel free to post or send me your thoughts, comments and suggestions.

2nd Round
2 33 Detroit: William Beatty--OT Connecticut....... Will allow Backus to move to guard as they work to strengthen the offensive line2 34 New England (from Kansas City): James Laurinaitis--ILB Ohio State.......Team with Cushing and Mayo to make linebacking a strength again for this team.
2 35 St. Louis: Larry English--OLB Northern Illinois......... Great motor who should push to start early in the season.
2 36 Cleveland: Connor Barwin--OLB Cincinnati......... Solid blue collar player that should excel in the new defense.
2 37 Seattle: LeSean McCoy--RB Pittsburgh......... Possibly the steal of the draft. Could be the franchise back they lacked last year.
2 38 Cincinnati: Alex Mack---C California.....Instant started who is a smart, high character player who should help change the image of the Bengals.
2 39 Jacksonville: Darry Beckwith--ILB LSU.........With the departure of Peterson, the Jags need a new man in the middle and Beckwith will provide that.
2 40 Oakland: Duke Robinson--OG Oklahoma............. Stud linemen who should start from Day 1 in Oakland.
2 41 Green Bay: Phil Loadholt--OT Oklahoma....... Some questions exist on the line especially at tackle where Loadholt will be a starter by mid-season.
2 42 Buffalo: Kraig Urbik--OG Wisconsin...... Blue collar worker that the Buffalo fans will love and QB Trent Edwards will appreciate.
2 43 San Francisco: Darius Butler--CB Connecticut...... Major rebuilding gets a great shot in the arm with the very talented and under-rated Butler.
2 44 Miami (from Washington): Clint Sintim--OLB Virginia........... The Dolphins added the WR and not get a linebacker who learned from Parcells's friend Al Groh.
2 45 NY Giants (from New Orleans): Jared Cook--TE South Carolina...... Little depth behind Boss so Cook should see action early in the season2 46 Houston: Patrick Chung--SS Oregon........ Texans still need to upgrade the second level of their defense and now have added a linebacker in Matthews and a SS in Chung so help is certainly on the way.
2 47 New England (from San Diego): Alphonso Smith--CB Wake Forest........... This teams has way to many picks so I expect some trading up but for the purpose of this mock no trades where projected. Adding Alphonso will give them a young future star to groom at corner.
2 48 Denver: William Moore--SS Missouri..........Keep adding to the defense. Moore will likely start day one.
2 49 Chicago: Michael Johnson--DE Georgia Tech.......... May go WR with this pick but the freakishly talented Johnson will add a special player to their defense and might be more valuable to the team this season than waiting for another wide receiver to develop.
2 50 Cleveland (from Tampa Bay): D.J. Moore--CB Vanderbilt.............. The new regime will look to upgrade the defensive talent on all levels and Moore carries a 1st round grade that is a steal at the #50 spot.
2 51 Dallas: Herman Johnson--OG LSU.............. Last year's injury to Kyle Kosier showed that Dallas needs to upgrade the guard position as Cory Proctor is not an every game starter. Johnson is a huge man and showed that he's taking the shot at the NFL serious by controlling his weight. Some compare him with current Cowboys player Leonard Davis.
2 52 NY Jets: Brian Robiskie--WR Ohio State........... Robiskie is a nice addition to the Jets and is mature beyond his age so his transition should be easier than most when it comes to adjusting to the NFL and likely can make a significant contribution rather quick in the NFL.
2 53 Philadelphia: Louis Delmas--FS Western Michigan........... Losing Dawkins and Considine the Eagles need to upgrade and add talent to the safety position.
2 54 Minnesota: Fili Moala--DT USC........ Beef in the middle and a great third DT to go with the Kevin and Pat Williams. Also great insurance should they have anymore issues with drug tests.
2 55 Atlanta: James Casey--TE Rice........Nice safety value option for Matt Ryan. Type of player that should work well for Atlanta in the atmosphere they are trying to develop around the team.
2 56 Miami: Victor Harris--CB Virginia Tech............. Young corner to be groomed for a starting role in the coming years. In the meantime will excel as a nickel and special teams player.
2 57 Baltimore: Marcus Freeman--OLB Ohio State........ Need to restock the linebacking core and Freeman is an unsung player on the Buckeyes defense.
2 58 New England: Rashad Jennings--RB Liberty.............Hoping to reduce running back by committee Jennings would be groomed to be a feature back for the Pats.
2 59 Carolina: Juaquin Iglesias--WR Oklahoma............ While reports are that Jarrett finally is ready to make the next step the Panthers will still need options just in case that is not the case.
2 60 NY Giants: Jamon Meredith--OT South Carolina........ Stock up the line as you can never have enough young talent linemen.
2 61 Indianapolis: Ron Brace--DT Boston College......Teams with 1st round pick, Peria Jerry, to help change the culture that defense is the softer side of the team.
2 62 Tennessee: Max Unger--C Oregon.........Replacement for Kevin Mawae whenever he decides to hang it up.
2 63 Arizona: Shonn Greene--RB Iowa........If the Edge is ready to leave the desert they will need a replacement
2 64 Pittsburgh: Eric Wood--C Louisville.......Keep adding to the offensive line. Wood is a big boy who is the type of player you put in the lineup and he's a starter for 15 years.
3rd Round
3 65 Detroit: Lawrence Sidbury Jr.--DE Richmond............ Needing help on both the Lions add Sidbury to take over one of the end position as the new régime remolds the defense.3 66 St. Louis: Rhett Bomar--QB Sam Houston State...Long term answer for Bulger who will sit, learn and watch behind the B boys (Bulger and Boller)
3 67 Kansas City: Jarron Gilbert--DE San Jose State........ Need an end to bring pressure and by this point Gilbert is the best player on the board.
3 68 Seattle: Tyrone McKenzie--OLB South Florida........... Nice player who should push his way on to the field as a starter early in 2009.
3 69 Dallas (from Cleveland) Rashad Johnson--FS Alabama......Currently Dallas has two SS but not much at free safety. Johnson is a little light but could be a special talent for this team of stars.
3 70 Cincinnati: Sen'Derrick Marks--DT Auburn......Big body for the middle of the defense that will make the Tank experiment a one year deal.
3 71 Oakland: Jason Williams--OLB Western Illinois..........Underrated talent who should contend for a starting job in 2010.
3 72 Jacksonville: Jonathan Luigs--C Arkansas.......... Jags need someone to anchor the o-line and Luigs fits that role and more.
3 73 Green Bay: Mitch King--DT Iowa .............King will be a nice big body for the defense as the Packers look to stockpile defensive linemen
3 74 San Francisco: Dannell Ellerbe--ILB Georgia........ Samaria Mike gets an inside linebacker to mentor and add to his improving defense.
3 75 Buffalo: Chase Coffman--TE Missouri..........Bills need that player who can go across the middle and act as Trent Edwards safety net. When healthy Coffman is a nice player who should be recovered from a foot injury well before camp.
3 76 NY Jets (from New Orleans) Gerald McRath--ILB Southern Mississippi... Rex gets another linebacker to add to his defensive potion.
3 77 Houston (from Sean Smith)--CB/S Utah........ Big corner who can also play safety. Should contend for a starting role early in his career
3 78 San Diego: Dorrell Scott--DT Clemson......... Clog up the middle as they continue to improve the talent base.
3 79 Denver: Andy Levitre--OG Oregon State.... With the new regime bigger offensive linemen will be needed. Levitre is the type of character that should mesh well in Denver.
3 80 Washington: Paul Kruger--DE Utah..... Talented player who will become part of the defensive rotation early in 2009.
3 81 Tampa Bay: Asher Allen--CB Georgia.... Younger corner who will blossom under the Tampa Bay tutelage he will likely receive.
3 82 Detroit (from Dallas) Louis Murphy--WR Florida...... Should be a great #2 receiver to team with Calvin Johnson
3 83 Green Bay (from NY Jets) Shawn Nelson--TE Southern Mississippi...... Nice target who should see the field early and often this season
3 84 Denver (from Chicago): Mohamed Massaquoi--WR Georgia...... Concerns about Brandon Marshall make this a need pick. If Marshall can keep out of the headlines then Massaquoi should develop into a great #3.
3 85 Philadelphia: Jairus Byrd--CB Oregon..... Lito Sheppard's replacement. Can't have enough young corners on a team.
3 86 Minnesota: Derrick Williams--WR Penn State......... Talented player who was underused at PSU. Should make a significant contribution early in 2009.
3 87 Miami: Troy Kropog--OT Tulane.........Nice depth who should develop into a contributing lineman down the road
3 88 Baltimore: Kevin Olgetree--WR Virginia........Talented prospect who should be able to help in the passing game. Playing at Va you know he's very fundamentally sound and should help on special teams initially this season.
3 89 New England: Darcel McBath--FS Texas Tech.......... Could push for a starting role in 2010 but his year will have the luxury to sit and learn from this talented bunch.
3 90 Atlanta: Sherrod Martin--CB Troy.........Nice prospect who will contribute on special teams while getting groomed for a starting role down the road.
3 91 NY Giants: Javon Ringer--RB Michigan State........ Will replace Derrick Ward in the running back rotation.
3 92 Indianapolis: Ramses Barden--WR Cal Poly....... Developmental prospect who if given time could become unstoppable.
3 93 Carolina: Cody Brown--OLB Connecticut .........Nice addition who will help keep the pressure on the offense especially if Peppers gets moved during the draft.
3 94 Tennessee: Gerald Cadogan--OT Penn State.......Very underrated player who could push his way onto the field by the end of the season.
3 95 Arizona: Mike Mickens--CB Cincinnati ....Depth for 2009 and eventually starter down the road.
3 96 Pittsburgh: Pat White--QB/WR West Virginia.... Antwan Randel El and Slash all over again. Adds a great dimension to the offensive scheme in Pittsburgh. White is a Pittsburgh type of guy.
3 97 New England: Antoine Caldwell--C/G Alabama..... Should provide depth at center and guard in 2009 and become a starter in 2010
3 98 Cincinnati: Andre Brown--RB North Carolina State....Nice size and speed. Should see the field early in the season.
3 99 Chicago: Kenny McKinley--WR South Carolina.....Nice size and great speed to spread the field and keep defenses honest against the Bears.
3 100 NY Giants: Kevin Barnes--CB Maryland......Can't ever have enough quality young corners on a team.
4th Round
4 101 Dallas (from Detroit): Scott McKilllop--ILB Pittsburgh...... Dallas needs depth at inside linebacker and McKillop fits that need. Could push for a starting spot in coming years if he can stay healthy.4 102 Kansas City: Mike Thomas--WR Arizona...... Small WR who should excel as a special teams weapon and nice target when they go to a 3 WR package.
4 103 St. Louis: Keenan Lewis--CB Oregon State....... Team can't have enough young talented corners.
4 104 Cleveland: Chip Vaughn--SS Wake Forest..... Smart player who will help reshape the defense
4 105 Seattle: David Bruton--FS Notre Dame......... Should contend for a starting job by no later than 2010.
4 106 Cincinnati: Travis Beckum--TE Wisconsin..... Steal at this point in the draft and if healthy can have a huge impact this season.
4 107 Jacksonville: Trevor Canfield--OG Cincinnati......... Helps a desperate need on this team. Should develop into a starter in the coming years.
4 108 Miami (from Oakland) Cedric Peerman--RB Virginia..... Speed back who can spell Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams.
4 109 Green Bay: Jaimie Thomas--OG Maryland..... Depth for the offensive line
4 110 Buffalo: Zac Follett--OLB California.............Will help add pressure on the QB and should work well with Poz.
4 111 San Francisco: Jonathan Casillas--OLB Wisconsin........Singletary keeps adding to his side of the ball.
4 112 Houston: David Veikune--DE Hawaii ..........Best available to fit a need at this point in the draft as the Texans are constantly trying to upgrade their defense.
4 113 San Diego: T.J. Lang--OT Eastern Michigan..... Nice swing tackle who should grow into a future starter.
4 114 Denver: Jasper Brinkley--ILB South Carolina....... More talent to upgrade this defense.
4 115 NY Jets (from Washington): Mike Goodson--RB Texas A&M....Young back to groom behind Thomas Jones and eventually become a rotational starter.
4 116 New Orleans: Kaluka Maava--OLB USC..............Nice depth for the Saints at OLB. Should contribute on special teams.
4 117 Dallas: Coye Francies--CB San Jose State...... With the Anthony Henry trade and Pacman release the Cowboys need depth at corner.
4 118 New Orleans: (from NY Jets) Nic Harris--OLB Oklahoma......Nice depth for the Saints at OLB. Should contribute on special teams.
4 119 Chicago: Kory Sheets---RB Purdue.......... Another player for the offense with nice size/speed combo who will be a great number two to Matt Forte.
4 120 Tampa Bay: Alex Magee--DT Purdue.... Nice big body for the defense. Should become part of the tackle rotation in camp.
4 121 Philadelphia: Austin Collie--WR BYU.....Perfect wide receiver for Andy Reid's scheme. Smart, good route runner and doesn't draw attention to himself.
4 122 Houston (from Minnesota): Tyronne Green--OG Auburn.... Could push for a starting role in 2010; this year he will be provide depth.
4 123 Baltimore: Kyle Moore--DE USC........ Will help with the restocking of the defense that was raided this off-season
4 124 New England: Sebastian Vollmer--OT Houston........ Talented tackle who will provide depth this year but could become a starter down the road.
4 125 Atlanta: Glenn Coffee--RB Alabama.... Depth behind Michael Turner who can help lightening the load for the franchise back.
4 126 Oakland(from Miami) Ricky Jean Francois--DT LSU...........The perfect Raiders player. When motivated is dominating but doesn't seem to have his head on straight sometimes.
4 127 Indianapolis: Stephen McGee--QB Texas A&M.......Upgrade behind Peyton who could become a very good #2 QB.
4 128 Carolina: Vance Walker--DT Georgia Tech......... Fills a desperate need in the middle of the defense. Walker should see the field early in his career.
4 129 NY Giants: Matt Shaughnessy--DE Wisconsin..... Coughlin's type of guy. Blue collar who will provide excellent depth for the G-Men.
4 130 Tennessee: Corey Irvin--DT Georgia........... Big body to help lessen the loss of big Albert
4 131 Arizona: Xavier Fulton--OT Illinois.......... Good swing tackle candidate for next year with the chance to be a starter in the future
4 132 Pittsburgh: Louis Vasquez--OG Texas Tech....... Focus this year is to upgrade the offensive line and Vasquez helps with that mission
4 133 San Diego: Michael Hamlin--SS Clemson......Will team with Weddle to provide a nice safety tandem in San Diego.
4 134 San Diego: Brandon Williams--DE Texas Tech..... Help with the pass rush and likely replace Igor in the rotation.
4 135 Tennessee: Jarrett Dillard--WR Rice.... Great steal at this point. Should make roster and play on special teams.
4 136 Indianapolis: Morgan Trent--CB Michigan..... Solid corner who should contribute this year
5th Round
5 137 Seattle (from Detroit): Christopher Owens--CB San Jose State..... Will be a 5th corner on this team as they start to switch into more of a Jim Mora Jr. type team.5 138 Atlanta (from St. Louis)---Augustus Parrish--OT Kent State.. Athletic tackle who should give some depth at tackle for the team.
5 139 Kansas City: Cornelus Ingram--TE Florida..... Tony Gonzalez eventual replacement. When healthy is a great weapon in the passing game.
5 140 Chicago: (from Denver/Seattle) Cameron Morrah--TE California.... Nice depth behind Olsen for the Bears

5 142 Cincinnati: Corey Smith--OLB Cincinnati...... Fast linebacker who will provide nice depth
5 143 Atlanta (from Oakland) Emanuel Cook--SS South Carolina....... Hard hitter in the secondary who should make the team first as a special teams performer

5 145 Green Bay: Derek Pegues--FS Mississippi State...... Nice player who should provide great depth this season
5 146 San Francisco: Jason Watkins--OT Florida... Will play in 2009 and should become a very swing tackle for them.

5 149 Denver: Brandon Underwood--FS Cincinnati........More talent to upgrade this defense.
5 150 Washington: Nick Reed---ILB Oregon.......Special teams is where he'll make the roster this year.
5 151 NY Giants (from New Orleans): Joel Bell--OT Furman.... Developmental prospect who should grow into a starter.
5 152 Houston: Sammie Lee Hill--DT Stillman.......Developmental prospect who will be at best depth this year and at worse a practice squad player
5 153 Philadelphia (from NY Jets) Courtney Greene--SS Rutgers....... Big changes at the safety positions in Philly. Greene fits their scheme very well.
5 154 Chicago: Chris Clemons--FS Clemson....... Potential starter down the road but should make the team for special teams and depth this season.
5 155 Tampa Bay: Michael Bennett--DE Texas A&M....... Nice big body for the defense. Should become part of the defensive line rotation in camp.
5 156 Dallas: Tom Brandstater--QB Fresno State...... Perfect fit as the #3 QB to develop behind Kitna and Romo. Should become the #2 QB in future years.
5 157 Philadelphia: Terrance Taylor--DT Michigan...... Big body who should provide depth on the defensive line
5 158 Minnesota: Anthony Hill--TE North Carolina State...... Will be the #2 tight end this year and will likely have to improve his blocking.
5 159 New England: Johnny Knox--WR Abilene Christian..... Speed receiver who should excel at special teams and become a nice #2 receiver in the coming years
