The firing of personnel man Tom Gamble on New Year’s Eve leaves no other possible conclusion. As long as Jeff Lurie has owned the Eagles, the team has experienced internal bickering that has undermined progress and ruined continuity. For years, team president Joe Banner took the blame for the problems.
