CLEVELAND -- Waiting might have been the most difficult part. The Cleveland Browns can easily navigate the sanctions that, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, will include a suspension for general manager Ray Farmer but no loss of draft picks. Forget a hammer-drop. The league is using a chisel on the Browns, who have been under investigation since early January over whether Farmer improperly sent text messages during games. For nearly three months, the Browns have handled new assistant coaching hires, free-agency plans and NFL draft scouting, which are not unique tasks in nature but are complicated when sanctions loom.
