The NFL Network on Tuesday night aired highlights of various 2014 games, including the Cleveland Browns' wild comeback from a 25-point deficit at Tennessee. One highlight showed Brian Hoyer going through, one, two, three reads from the pocket, eventually firing to Miles Austin on a deep slant route through a tight window. After that sunny October day, Hoyer was 5-2 as a Browns' starter with three game-winning drives. Back then, rumblings began about whether the Browns should lock up Hoyer to a long-term extension with a few months left in the season.
