Dallas Cowboys reach agreement to trade Patrick Crayton to San Diego Chargers - ESPN Dallas

This move Dallas Cowboys reach agreement to trade Patrick Crayton to San Diego Chargers - ESPN Dallas is actually good for both teams as the Chargers now can ship out Jackson and the Cowboys gets rid of a talented but overpriced 4th receiver and get to keep special teams standout Sam Hurd and second year man Kevin Ogletree. Sure Crayton will produce more than the any 7th round pick this year but Dallas was able to control where he landed and didn't have to see him go to say Minnesota or Washington. He's in the AFC and they won't see him until the Super Bowl (assuming they both get there).

Another point to remember Dallas lost their 7th round pick in the supplementary draft so they have recovered that pick for next year too.
