As with any new head coach when they join the team, the QB position is the one to tackle for success. For Doug Marrone, the answer is not Ryan Fitzpatrick. I keep hearing rumors that Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib will be picked in round 2. That may be true, but I think Bills have another plan.
With Tarvaris Jackson signed, I believe Ryan Fitzpatrick will be cut within a few weeks. Tarvaris has shown he can moderately play at the NFL level, and by cutting Fitz, it will open a starter spot for a rookie, or backup until he is ready to play.
I believe the Bills will select Gino Smith in round one if he is still there. If not look for Buffalo to trade down to select Matt Barkley later in round one, or trade up in round two, and select Barkley. I think Bills are definitely interested in Smith and Barkley, and not so sure the college coach takes his QB to lead his pro team.
