Interview with Bloomsburg WR Kyle Fisher

I wonder how many people were interested in talking to Miles Austin when he was coming out into the NFL from Monmouth University in 2006, and I wonder how many draft experts would want to talk to him now.   Amazing the money spent on scouting yet every year there are small school players who go later in the process than they should but always end up with the better career than those who go ahead of them.    A name people might not know now, but will very soon, is Bloomsburg University wide receiver, Kyle Fisher.

Footballdialogue:  What is your official height, weight and forty yard dash?
KF:  I am 5’11 7/8, 195 pounds and I run a 4.41

Footballdialogue:  What other sports did you play in high school?
KF: I played basketball my freshman year and ran track all through high school.

Footballdialogue:  I saw you had extensive experience running track in high school, do you miss running track? (league champ in the 100, 200 & 400, finished 4th in the state in the 200).
KF:  I miss competing as it is a very individual based sport so that type of competition is rare and I miss that.

Footballdialogue:  Where else did you receive offers besides Bloomsburg?
KF:  I received offers from West Chester and East Stroudsburg.

Footballdialogue:  What is your best memory from your days at Bloomsburg?
KF:  Honestly I would say winning football games as we were 37-10 during my time there so that kind of success was pretty special.   I especially enjoyed the “O Yeah” after celebrating a game.

Footballdialogue:  Who was the best opponent you faced while at Bloomsburg?
KF:  Without question it would be Tommie Campbell #27 from University of California of Pennsylvania.

Footballdialogue:  If a scout asked for Kyle Fisher at his best what film would you give him?
KFLong Island University Post this year.

Footballdialogue:  What have you been doing to prepare for your Pro Day?
KF:  I have been training every day on all levels to improve my game, my mind and my endurance.

Footballdialogue:  What are your thoughts on playing special teams?
KF:  I love special teams as I have a ton of experience as a kick returner and always enjoyed that aspect of football immensely.

Footballdialogue:  Who was your favorite NFL player/team growing up?
KF:  I am a Philadelphia Eagles fan but favorite player was Allen Iverson.

Footballdialogue:  What is the best thing about being from Denver, PA?
KF:  No doubt the food, it is farm fresh and all natural.  It can’t be beat.

Footballdialogue:  Can we follow you on twitter?
