Colts re-signing Matt Hasselbeck is good for Andrew Luck

INDIANAPOLIS -- The re-signing of veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck by the Indianapolis Colts doesn’t seem like a big deal on the surface. Hasselbeck will be 40 years old in September and it’s not like the Colts have a quarterback controversy because they’re set at that position with Andrew Luck. It’s the little things Hasselbeck does that mean a lot to Luck and the Colts. Hasselbeck spent the past two seasons joining coach Chuck Pagano, offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton and quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen as being an extra set of eyes for Luck.
