CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Based on an analysis written by a kid in Virginia, the Carolina Panthers might be wise not to invest long term in quarterback Cam Newton. Jeff Atkins posted the article on Twitter, saying it was from the newspaper at the elementary school his son attends. Atkins, according to Twitter, is a PhD candidate in environmental sciences and ecology at the University of Virginia. His son, according to the report, is a big Panthers fan.
