NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- If I’m the Tennessee Titans, I don’t draft Marcus Mariota second overall on April 30. The team hardly has a sure thing at quarterback and ranks among the big share of NFL clubs that need an answer at the position. But Mariota isn’t a certain answer. And I see too much mystery in projecting him, based in part on people inside the league and analysts I’ve talked with about him. The Titans have failed with their past two first-round quarterbacks, Vince Young and Jake Locker.
