It's now a week since the Game of Games. We have a little distance to see things. Despite my apathy toward the teams, I found myself enjoying the game. We all know, blowouts suck. I was nervous for the first quarter when Indy looked to be pulling away. I must say I was pleased with end result.
Where do we go from here. I don't see the Saints as repeat performers. I foresee a loss in the divisional round. They are an excellent team that got all the right bounces this year. Luck can't be worked into a game plan. 5 turnovers for the Vikings? Really? The Saints are a good team that will likely get back to the playoffs for a few more years, butgetting back the the big game will be tough.
Then there is Indy. Hmmm... Peyton will go down as the greatest regular season QB of all time. He is 9-9 in the playoffs. When the third quarter started I thought to myself, "Where is the pick? Manning always throws one in the playoffs." My 10th tier prognostication for Indy is a divisional loss next year like their opponents. The white and blue's window is closing.
But really, who am i? right? comments are welcome. Well positive comments are welcome, others are tolerated. :)
