- Indianapolis: Andrew Luck QB Stanford…Turning the page from one legend to possibly the best prospect since his predecessor with the Colts. Luck is the total package and will be successful early and often.
- Washington (from St. Louis): Robert Griffin III Baylor…Lot of pressure for RGIII with the price the Redskins paid but I for one don’t want to bet against him
- Minnesota: Matt Kalil OT USC….Replace McKinnie and protect the future of the franchise in Ponder.
- Cleveland: Trent Richardson RB Alabama..Since they refused to pay the price to get RGIII they should redirect and get the top back in the past several years and develop a great ground game.
- Tampa Bay: Morris Claiborne CB LSU….Barber can’t play forever…can he?
- St. Louis (from Washington): Justin Blackmon WR Oklahoma State….Get a boat load of picks and the player they wanted at the 2nd slot.
- Jacksonville: Quinton Coples DE North Carolina…Jags get an upgrade at DE as long as the motor doesn’t go out. Coples will need great coaching early on to get the most of his talents.
- Miami: Ryan Tannehill QB Texas A&M…This pick is sponsored by REACH toothbrush. Way too early but they’ll do it.
- Carolina: Michael Brockers DT LSU….Perfect disruptive force in the middle for the Panthers defense. A coach Rivera kind of guy.
- Buffalo: Riley Reiff OT Iowa…Added defensive players now they get the future LT that should allow Fitz more than half second to pass.
- Kansas City: Dontari Poe DT Memphis…possibly trade out as Poe here is a little early but if not he’s potentially a special player that could become a real force for the Chiefs in the middle.
- Seattle: Nick Perry DE USC….Need pressure on the QB and Coach Carroll knows him all too well.
- Arizona: Jonathan Martin OT Stanford…Levi Brown is back but need help at the other tackle spot and Martin is a smart, talented and fundamentally sound player.
- Dallas: Dre Kirkpatrick CB Alabama…Eli, Vick and just about every QB torched the secondary. Add Carr and Kirkpatrick and results should change significantly.
- Philadelphia: Devon Still DT Penn State…With the great Ryans trade the Eagles now can pick best player on the board and a beast in the middle like Still will help the middle of the D just like adding Ryans.
- NY Jets: Kendall Wright WR Baylor…Need WR who can work with the QBs not against them.
- Cincinnati (from Oakland): David DeCastro OG Stanford….Best guard in the draft and should help the offense across the board.
- San Diego: Mark Barron SS Alabama….Bob Sanders experiment didn’t really work so why not take the leader of the secondary on the National Title team.
- Chicago: Whitney Mercilus DE Illinois….great off-season so far when it came to adding offensive weapons now they need to upgrade the D-line and Mercilus is a nice add.
- Tennessee: Peter Konz C Wisconsin…With Munchak and Matthews on staff and unclear what direction to go might as well go offensive line. Locker will appreciate it for years to come.
- Cincinnati: Janoris Jenkins CB North Alabama….if any team takes chances on players it’s the Bengals and I wouldn’t be surprised with the Jenkins pick. Maybe Pacman can mentor him .
- Cleveland (from Atlanta): Courtney Upshaw OLB Alabama…Another member of the NCAA Champs. Will help create a pass rush.
- Detroit: Melvin Ingram OLB South Carolina…corner is certainly possible but Ingram is hard to pass up this late.
- Pittsburgh: Cordy Glenn OG Georgia..A BEAST of a man who can start for 12 years.
- Denver: Alfonzo Dennard CB Nebraska….Champ can’t play forever can he?
- Houston: Michael Floyd WR Nebraska….Andre Johnson has been injury prone the past few years and is 31.
- New England (from New Orleans): Luke Kuechly ILB Boston College…Some say offense upgrade is needed but Kuechly way to talented to pass up. Plug in next to Mayo and play some more 3-4. Kuechly is a Sean Lee quality guy.
- Green Bay: Jerel Worthy DT Michigan State…Have some holes to fill but Worthy is best guy on the board and can be an upgrade to the DT position.
- Baltimore: Donta Hightower ILB Alabama…Ray can’t play forever can he?
- San Francisco: Fletcher Cox DT Mississippi State…Cox is a disruptive clog in the middle and you can never have enough of those.
- New England: Mohamed Sanu WR Rutgers..Very fundamentally sound player who should develop into a go to WR. Something they need to start developing as they have had many misses the pass years.
- NY Giants: Dwayne Allen TE Clemson …..Giants will learn Bennett from the Cowboys will likely drive them nuts and won’t last more than a year. Allen is a special talent who should be a favorite target of Eli for many years to come.
