NFL Coaches on the Hot Seat: AFC Edition

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - AUGUST 30: Head coach Nor...

As we approach the midseason mark, I figured it was time to take a look at what coaches might need to either start recording a few more wins or start working on that resume for their new employer. At the eight week mark there were seventeen teams below 500, so obviously not all those teams will change coaches.
AFC Teams (currently with losing records)
San Diego Chargers:
Likelihood of return: Very slim as we have seen this routine before and Chargers ownership has grown tired of it. Should the season continue to progress in this manner a likely house cleaning is ahead for the franchise including GM A.J. Smith.
Possible Replacement: Mike Holmgren. It might seem crazy but word is Mike wants one more go round as a coach and a west coast team loaded with talent might be very tempting for Mike.
Current Head Coach: Dennis Allen
Likelihood of return: 100% as what franchise would fire a head coach after only one season. Oh wait a second.
Current Head Coach: Romeo Crennel
Likelihood of return: Not likely as the team seems to have grown impatient with the Scott Pioli regime and will either clean house completely or turnover the coaching staff. Hard to sell to the fan base the same coach if you have the number one pick in the draft.
Possible Replacement: A lot will depend on how much house cleaning is done by the franchise. Betting that Pioli survives but a new staff is in place and he may finally have to talk his buddy and current Iowa head coach, Kirk Ferentz, to give the NFL a shot.
